When the lie was good!

When the lie was good!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

They say the truth hurts
so I lied to make you happier.
They say the truth
is either black or white
so I lied to add some colour.
When I painted a picture sunny
I lied, it was really raining,
but sometimes you have to lie
to make things better.

yes, sometimes....but eventually the color becomes blue with sadness when the lies overlap, overrun and overwhelm...
another really thoughtful piece.
