The closure.

The closure.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

On you reading my mind
I tried to break your fall, but
your thoughts floated.
As you swam to shore
in your own tears
I closed my mind,
I wanted the scene
never to be repeated.

this reminds me of the guilt and sorrow felt at a breakup...when we are the one who has to end it...and the hurt it causes.
nicely done, andrew,
