Picasso thoughts on street life.

Picasso thoughts on street life.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A lonely heart pumps
the echoes that have past
where the winds of love holler
travelling through the mirage
of yesterday's hearts on offer.
Picasso thoughts drawn on mind's walls -
a sign of the times graffiti ed.
Cards of memories
shuffled on mind's deck
litter in the fall scattered]
from the winds of time
as the crack in the cup
of remembrance slowly leaks empty.
All the while mind's ceiling
illuminates stars shining
amongst images of primeval lust.
In the shadows a canary
sings for its dinner.

Strong imagery here Andrew and I built my own Picasso style print from your lines. Blues, black angular lines and a splash of canary yellow. It looked so lonely and the canary a spot of subtle brightness in a sea of misery.
