A covert heart.

A covert heart.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The innocence of true love
will be confined
to the heart
demarcated by barb wire,
and will remain
until such time
true love will not
be fractured or beaten.
Meanwhile looking
outside world's window
broken hearts precariously
sit on the serrated rainbow
still believing truelove's policy
of everlasting.
During the elaborate convolutions
of true love pulsating
many went to their graves
a broken heart disconnected
- a pandemic of broken love.
