Drawing the short straw.

Drawing the short straw.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

He who governs the day
will prolong time
to benefit his longevity.
He who draws
the short straw
will wish for
an exchange
in the hope
the straw will grow.

This seems to have the type of humor that warrants a laugh that has seriousness lying underneath the surface.
