A nail amongst hammers.

A nail amongst hammers.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

At a party
like a Nail amongst
a crowd of Hammers
I was nervous, however,
turned out they were
all allies when Hacksaw
made herself welcome
bearing her teeth and all.
In haste I shouted. " Hammer away!"
In a game of hide and seek
safely, I hid until,
Pincer exposed myself
dragging me from
the safety I desired,
the comfort of wood.
In the end the Vice
had me on the
straight and narrow.
