Amongst the sands of a moment broken.

Amongst the sands of a moment broken.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While thoughts wash
up through the waves beached,
leaving footprints in the sands
the tides of time
has them removed
where the vertigo
of all moments
doesn’t matter
living in an hour glass broken.

wow, the last four lines made me gasp...what a way to look at it...those thoughts of moments, and then feeling like they just don't matter...we think, why live them at all then?
