A play on words.

A play on words.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the amazing
marriage of letters
down and across,
the cross puzzle of life
was not in the words
but in the sentence given.

Your poem is a clever way to describe how I've noticed (upon growing old) that what felt chaotic at the time (in my youth) is now laid out like a crossword puzzle, kinda tangled maybe, but with mostly purposeful criss-crossing thru-out! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

how much does fate play into our lives...
down, up and across...the words do add up to a sentence...and we serve it as our lives
look for the perfect vocabulary to describe what we are.

Plays a big part, fate, I think Jacob. Thanks for reading J. Hope you are well.
