A star is born.

A star is born.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In a theatre world
of not what it seems
the centre stage is
swapped for the
audience of horrors.
Along the seashore
I saw ears litter
the sands echoing
whispers from the sea
to come in when
one was held to the shell.
The shell lives
I drown in the moment,
the waves erase
my entire existence;
I’m now a star
shining unnoticed,
I am amongst many,
You can’t see me
I can’t hear you.
