While the summer of you
had you lying bare,
the winter of me
had you feeling cold.
So autumn me this,
I am falling for you,
but in the spring of you,
I found you left me.

This sounds about like the lifespan of my typical romances over my lifetime. In my youth, living by a recreational lake, with the influx of tourist & all that bare skin, I always found some irresistible squeeze for the summer, but when summer ended, all the flippant promises, but sizzle turns to frazzle like your word-witty poem depicts (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
