Stepping stones of love.

Stepping stones of love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What is love
but the stepping stones
of broken hearts
in the quest
for true fulfilment
where the heart
searches blind
no paths are given.

I hate to be the one to point this out, but your love poem paints love as being pretty self-absorbed (which is exactly what I believe, as well!) It's like the search for love has more to do with whatever rebound a person may be on, rather than simply being open to the possibilities when meeting people. Maybe it's that desperate clawing thru the fixes that's kept me at arm's length (i.e. commitment phobic) all these years! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
