What is this thing called Love?

What is this thing called Love?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What is love
that comes and goes,
is hot then cold
that portrays the image
of love forever after,
and all that glitters must be gold?
What is love
that leaves us in the lurch?
Yes! Love the bringing
together of two hearts
only to have one lanced
by the spear of one,
seven deadly sins
dividing the two.
What is this thing called love
that clouds the senses
only to leave us
on a clear day
where the mind wakes up
from the carnage
to find the heart
has played on its euphoric impulses?

Love is a parachute sailing through clear blue sky until the rough landing shakes you to the core. When it's good, it is very, very good. When it's bad it is rotten.

This thing called love... is a Deck of Cards shuffled and played like hands up or hands down... I am still a Clown with you in Mid-Air... and me with a smile ... I join you in a Hot Air Balloon...
