What is mine is mind.

What is mine is mind.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the housing
estate of mind -
the cerebral apartment
was always a
singular establishment,
however occasionally
I was in two minds.
But to be truthful
the apartment did
run well under
one command,
and the housing
estate of mind
is not for sale,
nor for rent,
or for renovations,
but maybe shared
unlike the heart
of the matter.
Oh! Another thing
beware of the mouth
and no trespassing,
open for inspection
at owner's discretion.

terrific metaphor....
we live in our mind...but come out the front door of the mouth....
and sometimes we should have stayed inside.
