Looking over the shoulder.

Looking over the shoulder.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It was yesterday's voice
I remembered
that I misplaced
in tomorrow,
and that was today.

Only tomorrow
will long for
yesterday's thoughts
as today creates another.

I'm reading this as an illustration of how my old feeble mind constantly mixes up what day or week or month or year it is. All my life, I tried to live "in the moment" & couldn't. Now "the moment" is all I have available to me! *wink! winK!* Fondly, Margie
