Only animals will mow grass!

Only animals will mow grass!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

No longer will
the grass be
greener on the other side
of the fence.
There will be
green grass everywhere ,
and further more
the green, green, grass
we call home
will cease to exist.
Why you ask?
Because I have
rid myself of man.
No longer will
God be the shepherd.
It’s back to
bloody normal!
Says Mother.
Hoorah! Hoorah!

I have often wanted a fun-loving Goat or two
to nibble on the grass that is nourishing for them.
Flowers need their own Space with a fence and a Gate...
and the vegetable Garden fenced in as well.
The chickens should wander around (if the Goats would keep
them corralled. Perhaps some Alfalfa would add to the flavor.
Goats will eat anything so they say... perhaps the snakes ...
but maybe not to their liking. Just "food for thought". My
Riding Motor needs repair and I am in despair. truly, Pat

she will laugh when we are all gone....
no more electric mowers riding roughshod over her.
the cows will come home...and the pasture will be trimmed by them and the other animals
that will wonder where we all went.
