The monolith's birth place!

The monolith's birth place!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The monolith
where the church bell swings
bares no name.
A procession of skeletons
lead the way
a funeral march,
the coffin held high
to the Gods carried
as a sacrifice.
While they bared all
to the naked eye
for all to see
no one could
figure out
who was who.
How the monolith's
birth place was
placed over death
to be dressed
in lichen greens.
