I had a belief one night!

I had a belief one night!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I had a belief one night.
One could only postulate that
behind all the villagey people gathering
there lied a church hiding somewhere.
But this quantum theory
couldn’t explain why
the animals don’t celebrate Christmas.
It was not possible for Noah’s ship
to sail intact with two woodpeckers on board.
I had a belief one night
turned out I was only dreaming.

yes, on the woodpeckers...Noah had to give them a little pecking tree, much like a cat gets a scratching post.
I guess animals don't believe in Santa Claus either...
but yes, church is in the heart, not a building.
