In a perfect world.

In a perfect world.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In a perfect world
there is no God
for all religions
are the main
cause of wars.
In a perfect world
man would not
follow beliefs
but instead practice
good morals.
In a perfect world.....

Yes! The inquisition
is alive and well
and teaching morals
would spell the end
of the church and
all those beliefs....
in a perfect world.

But being far
from perfect
man continues
to make war
with one another
in the belief of ...
let us pray that we
drop bombs on you
at Christmas.

In a perfect world
there is no God
just the practice
of good morals.
It’s what humanity needs.

We are creative thinkers
trapped in primitive beliefs,
it’s time to change.
