The eclipse within the bubble.

The eclipse within the bubble.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I like your bubble.
Thank you! It’s the bubble
of despair and confusion.
And where’s yours?
Oh! My bubble burst years ago.
Can’t afford another one.
How do you live then?
Well! It’s not that bad.
I have this overwhelming
sense of freedom and
external happiness.
Do you want me to
burst your bubble.
I have a pin!
No thanks! I couldn’t
survive without my bubble.
