A character's assassination.

A character's assassination.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When acting life
became all too real
the character got scared,
and couldn't break out,
trapped in the
reality of life.

Reminds me of renowned Aussie Heath Ledger. As with other unfortunate & famous character actors, the practice is to become so immersed in your character that you never come up for air, for the duration of filming, even during your "off" hours. It has been surmised that HL (after playing The Joker -- I think was his last film) went a little "deep" & struggled to return from this acting journey. I love the applicable real-life symbolism of your sparse declaration (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you Margie:)
makes me think of the hero within us all ... how small choices can bury it or strengthen it .. character, honesty when truth is not convenient ... doing the right thing when it is unpopular ... much of our hero lost in the teen years me thinks ... ah well, Andrew .. fresh new start .... right?! ;))))))))))
