The narrative of the wheel.

The narrative of the wheel.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Everyone wanted to be
the spokes in my wheel
but no one volunteered
to be the grease
that turned the wheel,
hence we were left
less travelled.

Love your thought-provoking image . . . true, most people want a spot where they can be on display, feeling the prestige, but I bet there are plenty willing to be the grease . . . like most pompous self-absorbed central figures, this narrator can't be bothered to see down deep into the moving parts of his show (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
