In the heat of battle, a climatic ending!

In the heat of battle, a climatic ending!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The polarisation
of globalisation of man
had Earth moving in one corner
while the world was in the other
in the fight of the century.
For too long Mother
has been brutally beat up
by none other but man.
Now Mother is fighting back
where the fate of man’s seed
depends on Mother’s grip.
Remember the difference
between pink and purple
its the grip!
We don’t want to see
on Mother’s earthly menu
freshly squeezed man’s testicles!
Do we? No!

There's something inherently attractive to me about visualizing Mother Earth squeezing the balls off us stupid greedy over-consuming humans (male & female alike). Very few planetary poems include the ole Mom fighting back & that's what makes your point of view always a kick in the a*s (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
