The bounce that went too far!

Many a lovers
have laid upon me
in their naked glory.
I have been bounced,
jumped on, played on
and slept on.
I have been wrapped
in cotton and satin.
I’m fed up now
being a mattress
in a honeymoon suite.
Just leave me alone,
I’m bruised and
I’ve lost my spring.

Ha-ha! Reminds me of a childhood joke--Confucius says, "Woman who spring on innerspring this spring, have offspring next spring." Oh, that's silly and not very applicable. Sorry. Thinking about it, I hope Mr. Tired Mattress doesn't end up beneath Joe Bob's oil-leaking pickup.
