Writ large it was!

Writ large it was!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Came across a tear once
it was neither from
joy or sadness
and yet it was
a tear.
At the same time
I came across
a writ too!
Which was written
but it wasn’t a write.
Lost me shirt I did!
Torn right off me.
They called it a tear
and I was written off.
It had a writ all over it
and it was writ large
all over my face.
It was a writ as large
as a writ large can be!
Yep, clear and obvious!
No writ small here.
