Only self , self alone, the unseen.

Only self , self alone, the unseen.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Hello I’m self.
Hello I must be the other self.
How would you like
to go out together.
Ok but I must tell you
as you know being self
I don’t share all of myself.
I do too as you would be aware,
I, the other self doesn’t share
all of oneself either.
But you can share in my isolation
as I share in yours.
Agreed.

And so the two selves
fell in love and rode
off into the sunset
across the waves
and unselfishly together
shared in their isolations.

In the importance of being self:
Firstly, don’t kill yourself
if you can’t live with self,
learn to live with self.
Secondly, two selves don’t
make a right or a write
and lastly keep it to yourself,
self that is.
