In the delivery room of ideas.

In the delivery room of ideas.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Where else would
you find a delivery
room of ideas,
but at the bookcase
in the library.
It’s comforting to know
that although I will
never read all my books,
it’s knowing they’re there
waiting for me.
Now that’s what love is!
No shame, no guilt but
the loyalty of books
being there, waiting,
and having the possibility
I may read them.

writing is always loyal to us...whether it is in reading it or performing it.
even with all this technology, nothing like holding a book in hand and turning pages.
Just like poets hold the book of their lives in their hand and turn those pages.

I agree Jacob, to own and hold that book. They are just treasures to the reader.
