The kinetic heart.

The kinetic heart.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Her love was kinetic,
while she enjoyed
the sexual movements
of the moments,
her heart like her mind
liked to unwind,,
her time piece moved on
but not before she
stopped everyone’s watch.

All that glitters is not gold.

She was a pot of gold, they said,
but everyone who made
that mistake to have her
was given fool’s gold instead-
it’s worth, it’s weight in misery.
All the King’s horses
and all the King’s men
couldn’t mend broken hearts
ever again.
