A Poem by andrew mitchell

So you’re had
a heart attack
reaching
the final frontier.
Is this the end
or just another
hurdle to jump over
on entering
the new dimension.
Let us know,
for our time is
still ticking over.

People my age (to be 65 in July) have been posting a mountain of poetry about aging & dying. It seems to be an obsession around here. I feel more like how your poem puts it . . . tell me how all that downhearted demise stuff goes for you, pal, becuz I'm going to continue living until I die (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

How true, thanks for stopping by.
yeah! funny how that works Andrew! for all those who have had that ticket punched ... none but one has returned to let us know anything about it at all .. that would be Jesus Christ if one is to believe all the reports .. dead three days and self Resurrected ...1 Corinthians 15:55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" .. love your musings sir .. always bits of humor and/or wisdom

Andrew... we are "faint of Heart"; however our
Soul is more Joyful than ever. Touched each day
with the Beauty of Earth and Sky and the gentle
flight of Bumble Bees... that tease our sense of
Serendipity. Be Brave and Savor the Aroma of
Lavender and Mint. truly, Pat
