So say all of us for he’s a jolly good fellow.

So say all of us for he’s a jolly good fellow.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

His life was a curse
he died a tragic verse
said the matron nurse.
Carried in the hearse
but not the first
from the purse
they quenched their thirst
and with a little coerce
the coffin burst
and the body was gone.
In reverse
it was all rehearsed
and without his shirt
it was all rather...
perverse.

Many thanks for sharing your weekend poem. You are such an adventurer when it comes to rhyme and content, sir! Part smiled, part gasped at the use of meter, rhyme and perhaps, hint of mystery! Clever work, sir and enjoyable. Hope life is being kind to you. Take care, keep safe, please.
