Through the prism mind of refracted memories.

Through the prism mind of refracted memories.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The pirouette
of a memory
tip toed on
the shadows of yesteryear
where the lines
seemed blurred
between dreams
and reality.
How the hues
of yesterday
appear grey today
as today looks on
bringing tomorrow
dressed in ghostly white,
where naked is the rainbow
drained of colours
which life once wore.
In the art gallery
of the cranial mind
thoughts splash
the walls of remembrance
as shadows of memories
scurry past and present.
