At the thought examination room.

At the thought examination room.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Okay everyone
Time is up!
The thought exam is over!
Would you all now
stop thinking.
No more thoughts please,
and no more thoughts
put to paper.
May I remind
you all, also
that
when you leave,
go in a vacant
state of mind.
No thinking out loud
and no one
is allowed any thoughts
until one is off the campus.
Once again thank you
all for thinking today
and there were no vacancies
during the mind’s turn out
until now.
Good luck airheads!
May you all think
twice one day.

Got me thinking that there isn't much original thinking going on nowadays; more unthinking reaction to modern day stimuli, (my polite word for (b******t.)

Airheads, reign supreme methinks.

Beccy.

Thank you Beccy for your words and visit.
That's one way to inspire people, Andrew! Would love to know how that post arrived, is it a secret? Made me smile, not in a funny but a witty way - your forte (with accent), of course. Do people do a great deal of thinking these days or are they more worried about power to their elbows and techno rubble items? I wonder if you think that way?

Thought is being slid out of play because the ball is no longer round but more financially aesthetic than 'whatevah' as described these days . You've left me blahing, forgive - you nudge thought.
