A prosthetic verse.

A prosthetic verse.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The prosthetic verse
goes out on a limb
deciding to run
but never able
to walk
the mile.
In the end
what’s a verse
without a body,
it’s movement
motionless on
the junk pile.
A new line was
ordered.

But what's a body without a verse and what's a play without rehearse.
How did you know I had an artificial limb?

In my experience, a prosthetic verse usually needs therapy.
