In the ark of minds sailing.

In the ark of minds sailing.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In another place,
another world
Noah built and
designed a vessel,
and in this vessel
the thoughts came in
one by one
in pairs suited:
love thoughts, sad thoughts,
happy thoughts, bright thoughts,
angry thoughts, ridiculous thoughts,
sarcastic thoughts et cetera.

And he called
this vessel the Mind,
and this vessel had
a mind of its own,
and how the mind
came to power.

Next week,
how the arms and legs
were attached.

Meanwhile.

Noah!
Yes God!
Have you seen my thoughts?
Yes God, I put them
inside the vessel.

You can't train the mind to think in pairs or two by two. It will wander at will and can't be reined in which I think a pity at times. Our minds can be a complete jumble of disorganised thoughts. It would be nice to have a good spring clean.

Thank you Chris for your review and yes there are no two pairs only in satire :)
