Andrew, which came first the dry wit or the theological, philosophical juggling of ask and you will be told? You threw open the doors and windows and let mind, heart and conscience take such a clever stand.
'I am a universal answer
to a universal question.
I think we are
getting closer
to the truth.
Yes, your Honour.
Who is the last witness?
It is God your Honour.'
A finish unfinished, whilst so many amendments at hand. So much sitting in high places, listening to possibility before conclusions are reached and a summing up comes from what could be called the big divide between nothing but the truth. Deep breath! But, your honour, which truth?

Thank you very much for your words em, much appreciated.
I don't believe there is a one size fits all philosophy or theology because our responses will be as varied as our characters and personalities to any sort of stimuli, be it intellectual, spiritual or emotional. Questions all have answers but some are not what we may expect or want. Some may be unacceptable to our discernment but then, all should be, until proven fact or foolishness. If the truth is summoned to court it might have difficulty in finding a location so seldom visited. An interesting and amusing write, I enjoyed. F.

An amazing poem with so much creativity. I like the abstract and philosophical- spiritual dimensions to it. I like how you put the scene in the middle of court room of ideas and conclusions.
This is powerful and deep Emperor Andrew.
All rise, all ruse!!!
somber closing after so many chuckles Andrew! love this poem!! great creative idea behind it .. wish i were so clever :) loved reading .. brings smiles to me ol' face .. and yes! i think the theology in closing is spot on .. there are many things we can discover in this life and just as many more mysteries unfold as we "discover" .. and then there is God .. our Creator Father .. who i say is light, love, reachable, forgiving and purposeful ..love you brother; but God does that best!!! :) wonderful read sir!

THank you Gene for a top 10 review and kind words.😀
God is the answer to all questions. I'm not sure if that's where you were going with this, but that's my final answer! Lol. A nice little conundrum you've wrapped up here. Who gets to judge questions and answers? And when will we arrive at the truth? Very clever.
lol. very clever in a twisted sort of way. i don't think they'll run out of witnesses because there are an awful lot of questions out there. when you want the truth go directly to the source. you always make me think outside of the box or in this case stand. i'm wondering who the judge is and what it would be like in the presence of a bunch of questions hanging out together - you can never get an answer, just another question ... :)
Wow such a awwe inspiring piece , i absolutely love courtroom dramas , in a poem you've presented , thats just speechless , Using such a philosophical thought in such a way , i just love it , this poem is one i will surely read over the years and always have a smile on my face , Put one on your's too , God is the ultimate witness and he would love to see one more happy face , he created i bet!
I'm so jealous, Andrew!
This is perhaps the Funniest, Wtty-est, Cleverest, not to mention Philosophically Astute-est things I've read since I can't remember when!!!
...did I mention I'm jealous?
