To a toast.

To a toast.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Yesterday’s glass emptied
was found today
not replenished
leaving tomorrow’s mouths
thirsty.
In return,
Tomorrow’s mouths thirsty
yesterday filled the glasses
so that today
would witness
tomorrow’s glasses full
with smiles all round.
