Alfred Hitchcock's wordbook presents.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Beware of asking
for a word
you may get
a sentence.
Do not disturb
the proverbial
question mark
for the mark
will give
the sign
to ask questions.
Finally, do not ask
a verb for directions
for you may not
like the direction
you are given.
Remember this,
being a name,
you are only
a noun.
