The man of God on top of his world.
A Poem by andrew mitchell
You held the world in the palm of your hands, but you weren't gentle, then somebody shouted.
Stop!
And you dropped it. What on Earth were you thinking?

powerful, Andrew! one of the most powerful writes of yours i have read so far .. in my opinion of course .. "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." ...Proverbs 16:18 ... at least that's what this makes me think of..... a man of God having gone through a lifetime of struggle finally "arrives" in his own estimation ... his best lesson to come as he drops the ball and everything has blown apart ... perhaps he realizes all that effort might be wasted except for that fact that now ... he is finally in a position to "give up and let God" ..a quote from somewhere ;))) what a way for me to start my Cafe' reading this morning .. thanks for sharing sir ...
