Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Nothing ventured nothing gained.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the quest
for nothing
I was left
empty
with nothingness
at hand
I felt light.
On the other hand
the cup was full
I felt heavy.
Was I balanced?
No!
One hand takes
the other gives
while they both
shake hands.
Got to hand
it to them.
Please give
a big hand
to....

Balance is paramount and yet in that nothingness, liberation and lightness of being is possible...hard to balance both when in nothingness a new form of solace can be found and nurtured, it is important to remember life is both and to appreciate balance I think, always a pleasure reading you Andrew, stay well :)

It has to be about balance and your title is perfect for describing our pathway through life. If you don't try anything you will never know where it could lead. I remind my husband that when he recalls the first time we met. I was ordering a round of drinks for fifteen girls in the office, we were out on a hen night. This bloke on the other side of the bar asked if I'd like to share his glass of coke. The rest is history :) Have a good weekend Andrew.

Chris
