To rope to impress.

To rope to impress.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The affairs of the heart
were always out of bounds
seeing your love drift.
I always knew
your heart was a grifter,
it was all about'the hype
in order to score,
feeding the need
to be loved.
And so
I could not tell you
all that I am,
in the circumstances
I had to play safe.

I liked the poem Andrew.
"I always knew
your heart was a grifter,"
Grifter, I like this word. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry my friend.

wise choice in the situation says i! ... so many players out there ... i dare say each of us guilty at one time or another .. in the least .. smart tightly spun truth in "To rope to impress" .. a selfish approach from the start.
