The pecking order of disorder.

The pecking order of disorder.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In keeping
up with the Jones
one had to step
on the Smiths.
Needless to say
it didn’t matter
that the Smiths
we’re becoming
extinct .
No ! It served
them right.
But after
surpassing the Jones,
the Jones became
the new Smiths.
But that was alright,
change was for
the better and
the experience
was all rather
cleansing.

and then along came another Joneses...
and they became yet another Smiths.
always someone waiting in the wings...
flying in for the kill.

Amusing read Andrew. The best solution is to appreciate what you've got and to stop looking at what your neighbours and friends are up to :) That cuts the stress levels down :)
