The smudge on your mirror reads.

The smudge on your mirror reads.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Did the book
of mirrors
reflect on
who was reading
or did the glass
just absorb all
thoughts pending?
Did one turn
the page
in the hope
to find who
was the most
vain of all?
Mirror mirror
who claims us all
who is the fairest
of them all?
The answer is
look beyond yourself,
break the glass.

Yes, egotism can lead us to places we would not see. But maybe we must have the experience, that we might grow.

So true John, thank you for your words.
Having been studying Buddhism for 2 years now, I've come fully into the realization that everything is an illusion of our overactive minds & insecure egos *wink! wink!* The mirror is the place where our most vain bullshit appears (((HUGS)))
