The permeation of you.

The permeation of you.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The flesh you seek
I see in your eyes
from the reflection of me
where mirrored thoughts
absorb the same,
be it naked connections.
I hear your whispers
from baited breath
where the vapours of you
permeate the heart
filled with love’s solubility.
But like all things
that disappear
into a world
of no return
in the attraction
of myself
I found you just
a temporary distraction
as mere mortals
versus immortality.
I bid you goodnight,
sleep well princess
of mine, for now.

Perhaps my perception is off, but it sounds as though the lady is being told she's just today's special. My guess is she's not being told this face to face.
