A wild party of excesses.

A wild party of excesses.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I shook hands with hello,
on entry,
but having kissed the greetings
without permission
I got slapped with anger,
after a wry smile
was had in a rather
flirtatious manner,
I grabbed a drink
or did the drink
take a fancy to me?
Anyway it didn’t matter,
I dodged a punch
at my thoughts
and waved at goodbye.

Yes, into the lion’s den
I put my head
into the lion’s mouth
where she hissed
and I gurgled
my blood pouring out,
and realised
at that moment
that I was no
lion tamer.
It was a wild party!

Wildly funny. You drank many punches and got many punches in your mind and guts. Shame you were slapped by anger; a wild woman perhaps. Quit flirting and hunting for a lioness. Her den is off limits.
Lol........
