Reading tea leaves of a penultimate verse.

Reading tea leaves of a penultimate verse.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What mantric path
follows the elegy
of a soon to be -
dead write
that once circulated
uncharted waters
by a pen in mouth, pondering.
Where knowledge was a
teacup that poured
from above, and
wisdoms thoughts
that followed, born
filtered through
carried on an Om.
There lies on reading
the tea leaves - the verse
from beginning to end
turned on it’s head
kicking up dust
while I played
with the words.

Reading the verse from beginning to end - like the task of watching a thought from inception to completion - you can do that whilst reading the leaves I suppose. Capturing the wisdoms and translating into something magical through the tiny amount of language we have been given - infinitesimally rather difficult

great thoughts to sink into here - probably just on my own trajectory - but hey!

Thank you KWP
There is always cleverness and magic in your words; please tell us where you keep that crystal ball.
I need a palm reading.

Yes siiiirrrrr. You are welcome .
Attempts and successes of using whatever extraordinary method of creating that one special poem, perhaps? Such academic words, leaning to the intelligence, the spiritual and other dictates to find the way to a finish? Might or will need to re-read again.
