Lost in time.

Lost in time.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

From the moment
he learns of time
he hurries.

And from
the first step
he walks
then runs.

He lies in
in the eye
of yesterday
waiting for
tomorrow
to blink.

As the shores
of today
bring no news
he swims
in the waves.

well done says i, Andrew! observations are keen and anyone alive can relate. we hurry through life until time itself slows us down whether we like it or not ... treading water for me these days is an adventure .. let alone swimming ;) nice one sir .. love what you have done with time, the eyes and waves ... good stuff .. peace and love

We do hurry our way through life, always with one eye on the clock. Rushing our way through busy days. We could all do with slowing things down. At a slower pace, you appreciate more. Wisdom in your words Andrew.

Thank you Chris.
I rushed thru my life . . . then I finally hit some big waves in the last decade that slowed me down & forced me to spend more time immersing myself in things, rather than rushing thru them (((HUGS)))

Thank you Margie.
You are really a philosopher and a poet. I love how you bring truth to life about humans and their relationships, actions and reactions to things.
I like also how Einstein put time, space as one unit with no separation. This is a deep thought from you Emperor Andrew.
