How’s english treating you?

How’s english treating you?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Was the English language
made up along the way?
As one delves into
the confusion and chaos
the written language brings.
How gripping is the fear
that English delivers.

The plural for man
is always men
but the plural for pan
is never pen.
While the masculine pronouns
are he, his and him
so why isn’t the
feminine side
she, shis and shim?

I rest my case
entangled in the
demographics.
