What is going on!

God damn it!
If anything,
we could do
with a God
right now.
With all the civil
unrest going on
in the world
not to mention
climate change,
and the release
of Covid nineteen
we all could do
with a real God
right now.
Not in pray
or turn to page
sixty four from
the Book but
something more substantial,
more solid, in person
not some wisp of a belief
someone real,
a real God
and bring your Goddess,
Mother Earth could do
with a helping hand.
And more importantly
if there are lots
of you come on down
and bring it on.
You don’t have
much time
for man has
really done it
this time.

Sad. You make me sad. In my wanderings, I have seen things only God could create. Sunsets that set lakes on fire, forests dappled with morning dew, a thousand stars looming over a dark highway. If there is no God, how are these things still real? It only our own freewill that makes things bad. As a species, we are short sighted, egocentric children who know only our own desires. It is those of us who have matured who must somehow teach the others. And if an old drifter's thoughts are worth anything, you are welcome to them.

Sorry about that. I was watching a film on Greek mythology and how the gods always looked on making sure the world was ok and sometimes intervening to save the day. Not forgetting how real they looked. Thank you as always for reviewing.

A good rant Andrew ... borders on a prayer I think. Hopefully the Gods are listening ... hopefully the truth will win out and the world can be peaceful once again.
