When one size fits allA Poem by andrew mitchell
In a world
tailored made sex was the fashionable throw away line while love wanted to keep it. In the rag trade a silken touch a stitch away from being frayed, wear while you can. Stripped back the naked flesh one size fits all a member’s club. Across the road a barber shop and all its trimmings: while on parade sex sells but there are no buyers: it’s shop until you drop, the big sale on attraction. Can I help you Sir? Anything of interest? No I’m shopping not buying. Down the road a lonely old shop a sign says love for sale. © 2022 andrew mitchell |
