Unfinished sky in the hourglass of time

Unfinished sky in the hourglass of time

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A face in the mirror,
a certain hunger,
fog on glass:
thoughts absorbed,
a flaw reflected -
dream eaters.
Through the looking glass
an unfinished sky,
the glass half full,
a shadow of glamour.
What comes next?
The glass breaks,
time on one’s shoulders:
the weight of sand,
shattered hearts.

dearest Andrew… the Looking Glass is a reflection of Time where Smiles bring Memories… A twinkle in the Eye of the beholder. Our Spirit surely shines like Moonlight until the Dawn of Time… Your poetry has a Melancholy Aire. tenderly, Pat
