Poetry signs roadside

Poetry signs roadside

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I thought I
had write away
as it was free verse,
and giving way
to ideas I
found myself
in a cul del sac
looking for a roundabout
to veer off
at a intersection
where thoughts
and meanings
come together.
I'm at the crossing
lights are green
my thoughts
say walk
roadworks ahead.

great inspiration, but you need to create and not feel creative, ya know, :D

very clever metaphor...those thoughts that have no where to go...they are stuck in a dead end...
no longer free to travel onto the paper...

Hello Andrew,. A clever use of words here. May the lights always remain green on your poetry. Have a good weekend.
